Chapter 1: Introduction

Chapter 1:

High school graduation is the catalyst for a new chapter in my life. In this new independent stage, I find it difficult to maintain a good overall balance. This balance that I am referring to is called the "triangle balance," consisting of three essential aspects to guarantee a healthy well-being. At the start of college, I had the mentality to believe that my "triangle" will be the same going into the college. Little did I know that I was wrong. As a freshmen with only one month of experience in college, discipline and self- control are two prime factors that influence this "triangle". The three areas of the triangle consists of your personal, academic, and social life.
Under personal life, fitness and nutrition are crucial aspects to maintain a healthy body. Well Jason, what makes a healthy body? It may seem like common sense, but sustaining a healthy diet and exercising are keys to guarantee a life filled will happiness and contentment.
For college students, it is imperative to seek health as your number one priority. Discipline is difficult to do; however, determination in achieving any goal will help conquer that. Self- discipline will prevent the interest of obtaining food at the dinning hall, fast food places, vending machines, and any place contributing to an increase in fat.
Life in a college setting requires much independence, which primarily includes choosing what you put into your body and what you do with your body afterwards. Choosing to make a healthy start this early will benefit my overall four year journey at this university. In here, I will discuss about different exercises and daily meals that one can have to ensure a great college life. Building character and personal qualities will also be addressed for healthy motivation. We are in this together!

This should be your main focus for a healthy lifestyle:
